Onings Holland participates in lily show at the Keukenhof and Dutch Lily Days |
POELDIJK, the Netherlands, April 19, 2012: Onings Holland, a leading Dutch lily firm, today announced two major events in May. First, during May 10th to the 20th the company will be present at the lily show at the Keukenhof. Then, on the 22nd to May 25th 2012, Onings Holland is one of the participating companies of the Dutch Lily Days. During those days, fifteen lily breeders and exporters will all have their ‘open house’. Onings will present the wide range of varieties in their trial greenhouse.
The "kickoff" for the new lily season will be given during the lily show at De Keukenhof in Lisse. Onings Holland will be present with a flower display. The focus of this lily show is not only trade anymore, but has shifted to the consumer. This development is facilitated by the occurrence of another event, the Dutch Lily Days.
Under that name fifteen lily breeders and exporters have joined forces. All companies will have an simultaneous open house during the same week. Onings Holland was one of the initiators of the Dutch Lily Days, which this year will be held from Tuesday May 22 to Friday May 25. This front running company, which is trading the world's largest assortment of lilies all over the world, will welcome visitors in a separate trial greenhouse. Last year, customer and interested parties from all over the world came to the first edition of the Dutch Lily Days at Onings to see over 500 different varieties of lilies in bloom.
In this experimental greenhouse are the most promising new varieties on display. Onings remains committed to innovation of the current lily assortment. A complete overview is back on display at Onings’ new lily poster, which for 2012 is fully updated. On other fronts, the company dares to take new steps. As one of the first companies in the flower industry Onings Holland has developed a mobile website (www.onings.com). Further, the company will presents itself with a new company video, which will premier in the coming weeks.
